Doggie Airline Passenger

I don't know how many of my new animal friends had to travel over the holiday, but if anyone had to fly by plane, it is usually not too much fun. My Daddy Len had a doggie passenger on his flight a couple of months ago, and the doggie had to ride in the belly of the plane. This is the way larger animals have to travel unfortunately, because there is not enough room in the plane's cabin. Daddy Len made sure that this Australian Shepherd got through the flight ok.

I think I would probably have a heart attack AND a stroke if I had to travel like this!

I hope all my animal friends got to their destinations safely this year.

Please sign my GUESTBOOK, when you have a chance.......thanks!

Poor little guy! Flying has got to be scary - but I know I'll have to do it sometime. Hopefully I won't have to be in the hold, but can ride with the luggage!

Hi JB, I'm MoMo, thanks for visiting me. You have some very colourful pictures in your blog. I have never flown before and don't really want. I even hate car trips. Being in a PTU is no fun.

Hi JB, thanks for checking out the 4Bs. Bailey had to fly all the way from Minnesota to Seattle when he was a little puppy. he was all alone and kind of scared when mom picked him up at the airport. then he licked her face and he was all happy again. after he got home, he went pee pee, ate dinner, drank a lot of water, and then barfed. he said that flying and all of that stress made him sick. none of us has ever flown since then.

I had to fly on an airplane, TWO TIMES! I did not enjoy it. But I got to ride under the seat in my soft Sherpa carrier.

Hey, JB! So glad you dropped by and left a comment..it's great to know other cats that live nearby as well as those that live far away. I'm adding you to my blog roll and you'll see me often!

Yup. Flying animals in cargo holds isn't good. Maw says boarding animals at the vet's over the holidays isn't good either. Since she's worked for 3 vets, we figure she knows what she's talking about.

Pee Ess. We hope you guys get your fountain! They're reasonably priced at The Cat Connection over on Inwood.

Hi JB,
I don't think I would make a good internation jetsetter. I am a homebody cat at heart - no planes for me.

Our Momma and Poppa went on an airplane last week and they said they saw a doggie in a crate being loaded with the luggage. Momma felt bad for the doggie and volunteered to puppysit it on the plane for the flight, but they wouldn't let her. She was sad. :-<
