Vultures are NOT My Friends!

Mom saw some black vultures today when she was driving home from the store. She tried to get a better picture of them, but they kept flying away, as if they were scared of mom.....yeah right! Vultures are scavengers, and not scared of anything!

Mom also saw a raccoon that had been hit by a car and it was laying on the side of the road near them. These vultures are NOT my friends! They were waiting to eat my friend, the raccoon!

Needless to say, my mom did not take a picture of the raccoon. That would make me too sad.

Before you go, please sign my GUESTBOOK, and stop by my SMALL WORLD too, thanks! JB's Mom's Big World is new too....check it out!

My mom saw a whole bunch of vultures in Florida when she was visiting the Kennedy Space Center. She said it was really spooky.

JB you are lucky, we have vultures here, but they always fly so high that I am never able to take a good picture. They are usually flying over the highways, so they can glide on the thermal energy. So you saw dead raccoon, sad, and I tell you we get lot of road kills here too, skunks are the worst. Hey nice photos though, thanks for sharing, Anna :)
