Cow #616

Here is another story from the island of Texel in the north of Holland. There are lots of cows that live on this island.

Mom met Cow #616 in Texel, and Cow #616 said she had heard of JB's Big World!

Cow #616 said she wanted to be my friend! I asked mom where Cow #1 was and she said she searched and searched but could not find Cow #1.

I wonder if Cow #1 would be a better friend than Cow #616? No, I don't think so. I think all cows are good friends for me!

I am happy to report that these cows are not used for eating, but they are used for milking. I think Cow #616 is about ready to blow! The farmer better get her milked fast because she looks like she might explode! That udder filled with milk looks very uncomfortable. I am a cat, and I sure am glad that I don't have to be milked!

I like my new friend, Cow #616, but I will ask mom to keep looking for Cow #1. There must be something special about that cow for it to get to be the #1 Cow!

Before you go, please sign my GUESTBOOK, and stop by my SMALL WORLD too, thanks!

Wow JB, that cow has alot of milk. That would be atleast a 1 year supply of it for you....I wonder where that cow #1 went too?
Thanks for asking about Gizmo. He seems to be doing okay. He cried alittle when he moved last night, so mum is watching him closely. He eats baby food now. But the cancer came back so fast last time, and mum is afraid that is what has happened again. If he starts to hurting too bad, she said she will help him cross over, so he doesn't suffer any longer.
But, I hope he is around for awhile longer.

If JB was there he could help with the milking. Maybe you can get him a cow and make it #1.

Cow #616 has a tattoo on her behind! Are there ever cows out in the wild? I wonder what happens if they don't get milked?

My Mom already went to the George Strait concert last month. She didn't bring her camera because she thought it would be confiscated... she could see other people brought their cellphones which have camera built-in, but my mom's cell phone is very basic -- no camera. Sorry, no pics!

Mom says it is too bad your Mom is not going to the Kenny concert this Saturday. My Mom's friend wants to see Kenny but we haven't looked to see when he is going to be in town.

My Mom just got back from Florida a few hours ago!!!! I am so glad she is home so that she can help me read every dog's and your blog regularly again.

WOW... that cow has a tattoo. At night, some silly humans go out and cow tip when they sleep and when they fall over this cow would then be #919... hehe... =)

Good luck finding Cow #1! My grandpa lived on a farm whilst growing up and he had to milk the cows - he told my mom he would point the teat toward the cat and it would drink the milk that way!

Hi, JB...

Thanks for the comment...

Yes, I like cats very much...We don't have one, but I see them everywhere when I go outside...

I've never seen a cow before, though...They sure are big...

The cows in the Alps are more "happy": they have great metal bells and large collars.
