New Neighborhood Friends

We are moving next weekend to a house a little further out to the country. Mom says to enjoy the country while I can, because many more people will start to move out this way soon too. Here are some of my new neighbors!

There are Cows......who said, "Welcome to the neighborhood, JB!"

Horses.....who said, "Welcome to the ~NEIGH~borhood, JB!"

Barns with more animals inside, who said, "Welcome to the neighborhood, JB!"

Goats.....who said, "No butts about it, JB, welcome to the neighborhood!"

And even Llamas......in between spits, said, "Welcome to the neighborhood, JB!"

I think I am going to like my new neighborhood, and my New Neighborhood Friends!

Before you go, please sign my GUESTBOOK, and stop by my SMALL WORLD too, thanks!

Moving is definitely an experience. I've lived in three houses, one hotel, and now an apartment (but Treater promises it's only for a year or so!). The worst part of the move? Having to travel in that blue carrier! The best part? We've got cows and all kinds of big birds and anoles and frogs and squirrels and kids and dogs around. Well, some of it's not so good, I guess.

I think the llama needs some crest white strips :-)

Not surprisingly, they all welcomed you to the neighborhood! You have very friendly neigh-bors.

JB, last night apparently one trap was set off and one trap had all the peanut butter removed. No mouse in sight. The trap that was set off was not near it's original spot. These mice are getting smarter and smarter. Then today my Mom opened one box in the garage, her box of books, to discover the mice had been in it. Ew!!! She opened more boxes and found a mouse house. I wonder how long they have been living in my big house. Mom hopes she doesn't get some disease from being around all the mouse droppings and handling the books and things. Yuck! She's not sure where some boxes went though... did the mice take off with them???

It looks AMAZING! Where are you exactly? In the US? In what state? We're thinking of moving in a year or so, so am looking at locations :-)

Hi JB....No luck on Charlotte...Mum just did my post for me, when you were leaving your message. Look at all your new friends JB...that is sooo cool. You will be out in the country like me. Be careful please! I asked mum to take a photo of the colts this morning for you. She said she did but the lighting wasn't very good and she will send it to you later today. I wish we could play together. I will email you later today.

Wow, your mice are pretty smart, too. What I'd like to know is how do the mice get in my Mom's boxes. (and how are your mice getting into your Mom's drawer? Did someone leave it open and invite them in?) The cardboard box handle is where there's a hole to grab the box with your hands. It's not low on the box. Can mice climb like they're climbing Mt. Everest??? My Mom has only seen a little bit of mice pee... she thinks there was probably more but it evaporated. Yuck. She didn't get the PB traps this morning but will tonight.

JB, what lovely new neighbors you have! Please tell Mr. Llama, however, that dental hygene is very important--even for ungulates.

WOW!! It looks like you will have lots of new friends:) We moved a bit outside the city too, but it is not as rural as that. We do not have any neat friends ,just more birds and squirrels. Mind you,I did not have them in the city :)

Hi JB! Finally I found some time to enjoy your excellent blog…
And I found lamas; would be delighted to see them live in Peru or Chile or Patagonia, but anyhow it's better on the web than nowhere... ;))
Those hippo pictures don't stop to amaze!!
Meanwhile Blogtrotter, now at the second and last post on MoMA, is waiting for your comments! Hope you enjoy and wish you a great week and a nice holiday, in case you have the chance to profit from it! ;))

My Tuesday mouse report!

4 PB traps, 2 set off, no peanut butter left in ANY of the 4 traps, only 1 mouse. That doesn't add up, does it??!!

Hey JB! I will wish you tentative congratulations on the closing of your new house.... and will save the real congratulations for after your Mom signs her pawograph on all those documents today. And then you will have a busy weekend ahead. Plus, I guess Poo Poo will be released from jail soon?

I saw one photography search engine with free photos from Flickr.
Please check this link rotavacx.com

It can help you more than most sites because it has some cool visual search tools. You’ll find what you need in seconds.
