Gotta Love LadyBugs!

Here is another new friend I have straight from our Texas garden. It is a LadyBug! LadyBugs are very good at eating aphids and other pests in the garden.

The LadyBug is one of the few insects that is popular worldwide. Why? Because it is considered a sign of Good Luck and Fortune!

This LadyCat loves my new LadyBug friend! Us Ladies have to stick together, you know. I sure hope my CatHouse gets some Good Luck from my new friend!

Before you go, please sign my GUESTBOOK, and stop by my SMALL WORLD too, thanks!

Well you know I love ladybugs, or ladybirds as we call them in the UK.

One time there was a ladybug in my Mom's salad. When my Mom pointed it out to the waitress, she told my Mom they bring good luck... but my Mom wasn't too happy with that.

Today my Dad had a ladybug on his jacket while he was on BART. Since it was about to go into his hair, Mom flicked it off him and then the poor ladybug went onto the floor.

JB beautiful post, I love lady bugs too, very very much. I remember one year when we had many aphids around the city of Toronto decided not to use pesticides instead released Chinese ladybugs. Not the same, they were actually biting, and they were mulitiplying like crazy. One day I look out on my backyard and I saw cloud of the flying around in the sun, and ofcourse some crawling into the house. But I think winter slowly slowly eliminated them, it took few years though....

Excellent post, and I love the image! Anna :)
