Wordless Wednesday - Should I Keep Eating Fish??

My mom just came back from a Big World Assignment to Destin/Fort Walton Beach Florida. The next few posts will be all about the new friends mom found for me there.

There were a lot of fishing doggies riding in boats there. I like to eat fish a lot, every day, in fact, but I was not sure where the fish in my dinner plate came from till now.....

If you look closely, this doggie is licking his chops, waiting for some fish to eat!
The next couple of photos are disturbing to me......

And this is where the Wordless Wednesday part comes in, there were lots and lots of fisherman in Destin, catching my friends........I was very upset to see my Fishy Friends hanging from hooks in the HarborWalk Marina!

I have no words......how can I continue to eat fish now after seeing these pictures?? Has anyone ever heard of a Vegetarian Cat?

Gotta Love LadyBugs!

Here is another new friend I have straight from our Texas garden. It is a LadyBug! LadyBugs are very good at eating aphids and other pests in the garden.

The LadyBug is one of the few insects that is popular worldwide. Why? Because it is considered a sign of Good Luck and Fortune!

This LadyCat loves my new LadyBug friend! Us Ladies have to stick together, you know. I sure hope my CatHouse gets some Good Luck from my new friend!

Flowers are NOT My Friends!

This post will show you one of the reasons why I have not posted so much lately.

My mom (Big World Assistant) has been spending too much time outside in our garden!

.....Planting lots and lots of Flowers!

JB: "Mom! Flowers are NOT my friends! ANIMALS are my friends!"

Mom: "Ok, JB, look very closely at this Hibiscus. What do you see?"

JB: "It is a Nymph Katydid! He is a young Katydid, and he will eat lots of leaves and plants and grow bigger and bigger."

Mom: "See, I did not forget about looking for friends for you when I was in the garden!"

JB: "But mom, it looks like he is eating your flowers! You are not going to kill my new friend, are you?"

How to Avoid the Swine Flu!

I tried to look through the pictures in my Big World files of all my animal friends to see if I knew any Swine. I thought for sure I knew some swine, and I wanted to know if you could really get Swine Flu from a Swine?

The only Swine friends I have are these two from the Ft Worth Zoo, that my mom met a while ago. Do you think swine are getting a bad rap with the Swine Flu scare?

One thing I do know, is how to avoid the Swine Flu:
